Why are we struggling with so much chaos in our inventory management systems and in our businesses? We’ve been using the same tools for 40 years, certainly we should have them working well by now, shouldn’t we?

We talk about improving Visibility. We talk about process improvement.  We talk about perspective.  We talk about Smart Metrics. Yet, we seem to be facing the same chaotic situations. And though we might see some changes, are we actually improving?

John Melbye is introducing a series called “Edutainment by Entertrainers”, which is built on the audience's thoughts and answers as we try to understand the seemingly obvious answers to the increasingly urgent questions. We’ll ask the questions: “What is visibility?”, “Are we approaching our problems correctly?”, “What is the best way to achieve success?” And though the topics and questions are serious, we’ll have fun finding the answer together.
